Richard Paradise, who was reported missing from his home in Bath on Thursday, has returned home safe and well.
Avon and Somerset Police would like to thank you to everyone who looked out for him and helped spread their appeal.
Mr Paradise, a seventy-three year old was last seen at around 9am on Thursday, the 30th August, at his home in Englishcombe Lane.
Police were concerned for his welfare because it is out of character for him to go out for any length of time without telling anyone where he is going.
Searches of countryside around his home took place with police officers and the local air support unit.
