This is simply one of the most beautiful shows for the youngest audiences available, created by the team at The Egg led by Nikki Warwick and Kate Cross.

The simple, almost nonverbal, story supported by composer Alex Vann and directed by Nik Partridge is a visual delight.
Performed by Nikki Warwick, who meets the Mole in their underground world before leaving for a journey, it is a wonderland of discovery, there is a feeling that we are experiencing it for the first time which evokes a true magic.
Nikki has an easy rapport with the young audience and the puppets created by Marc Parrett are simply stunning and come to life with ease.
The Roper Room at the Egg is a complete installation into a magical world with a simple projection and many multipurpose pieces of set. Sat on cushions the audience is easily lured into the magical world and the soundscape leads us on the journey.
Designed by Edwina Bridgman, is it an immersive fairyland of endless moments of wonder from moths to the glowing moonlight projection by Lighting Designer Will Burgher.
Aimed at 18 months to 4 years, it is hard to imagine anything better to introduce young people to the joy of performance. It is a short piece which enraptured the very youngest and the older children without effort.
Pieces like these are hard to find but if you can grab a ticket to join Mole on this adventure you will not be disappointed.
