A world renowned children’s entertainer is heading to Bath to host a family party for the whole community at a Combe Down-based church at the start of April.

Doug Horley, who works nationally and internationally on children’s projects and writes worship songs, will be at Holy Trinity Combe Down on Good Friday, 4th April.

Currently signed to EMI/Kingsway Records, he has written many songs which are sung in churches across the country.

With his team he travels widely putting on family praise parties, crazy science parties, and seminars.

His work has included events for the evangelist Billy Graham, concerts and family services for churches across the UK, Canada, South Africa and other countries.

Rob Bubyer is the Children’s Pastor at Holy Trinity Church, Combe Down in Bath and is the organiser for Good Friday’s Duggie Dug Dug’s Crazy Science Party.

He said: “This will be a really fun event! It will involve a fast moving mixture of action songs, break dancing, funky dance tracks, tricks, illusions, hilarious puppets and sign language songs.

“With lots of audience participation and a hefty measure of fun and laughter thrown in, it will make for a colourful and exciting celebration that children and adults will talk about for years!

“We are extremely blessed to have Doug join us in Bath. He believes that there is something very wholesome about having fun together as family, and wherever possible he likes to coordinate all his children’s events as occasions that adults can get fully involved with too.”

Duggie Dug Dug’s Crazy Science Party will be held at Holy Trinity Church, Combe Down on Friday 4th April, from 11 am – 12.30pm.

Family tickets are £10 each. For more details, and to purchase tickets, contact the Holy Trinity Church Office on 01225 835835 or visit www.htcd.org/duggiedugdug.
