The event, being hosted at The Rec on Friday 18th August, is a celebration of rugby with live music, entertainment and activities taking place from 1.45pm – 5pm.
With the new season kicking off in just a few weeks, anticipation is building amongst the Blue, Black and White supporters following the signing of Scottish fly-half, Finn Russell and World Cup-winning Springbok, Thomas du Toit.
The event will also be a chance to meet some of the club’s star players, including Tom Dunn, Ben Spencer and Miles Reid, and coaches, where fans will have the opportunity to ask questions in a 45-minute session, hosted by rugby presenter Georgia Stone.
Also taking to the stage will be The Rec favourites, The Shadow Monkeys, who will be playing two live sets throughout the afternoon.
Bath Rugby Foundation will be hosting a mixed-ability rugby showcase and bringing two giant rugby inflatables with them to get fans to demonstrate their rugby skills.
Max the Mascot will also be doing the rounds looking for selfie opportunities, whilst fans can also get their faces painted and show off in the 360° photobooth.
Thrill-seeking supporters can also try and beat the bungee by having a go on the inflatable bungee run.
Dave Ayres, Marketing Director at Bath Rugby, said: “The day is a chance to welcome fans and open The Rec up to our wider community to meet the team ahead of the season and feel inspired by what’s on offer at the club and at Bath Rugby Foundation.
“There will definitely be something for everyone and we’re excited to have fans back with us at The Rec as we gear up for the new season.
“Last year’s launch was great fun and the perfect opportunity to introduce supporters to the new faces at Bath Rugby.”
Entry is free, but those wishing to attend should sign up online here. On the day walk-ins will also be accepted.
