The Bath Food Festival was due to take place at Bath Recreation Ground from Friday 16th to Sunday 18th July.

It has now been postponed until Summer 2022.

Organisers of the event, Fantastic Food Festivals, said the postponement was due to circumstances beyond their control and continued pandemic uncertainty.

The statement reads: “After months of planning with an impressive line-up of talented celebrity chefs, experts and stallholders attending, it has become clear that it will not be possible to put the festival on this year due to circumstances beyond our control and pandemic uncertainty.

“Unfortunately, there is simply too much uncertainty about how the event may be affected by Government announcements.

“We are of course devastated by this difficult decision. We are still incredibly excited about bringing Fantastic Food Festivals to Bath and it is our priority to relaunch in Summer 2022 and for the Bath Food Festival to become part of the City’s annual Event Calendar.

“The new date will be announced as soon as possible.”

Those who have already purchased tickets will be offered a refund or tickets will automatically be transferred to next year’s event.
