People living in Peasedown St John and the surrounding area are being invited to the village’s next big community breakfast, hosted by Peasedown’s Residents Association, which was set up in 2013 to organise local social events.

B&NES Councillor Karen Walker (Independent, Peasedown St John) said: “The Residents’ Association has worked hard over the last three years and developed a reputation for putting on fun and enjoyable events for local people.

“Following on from the success of six previous Big Breakfasts, Christmas meals for the elderly and Children’s Easter events, this first Big Breakfast of the New Year is not to be missed.”

Peasedown’s Big Breakfast will be held on Friday 29th January, from 10am-1pm at St John’s Close Community Hall (BA2 8JE), next to Albert Avenue.

All funds raised at the Big Breakfast will help fund community events for the year ahead.

Full English Breakfasts are £2.99 each.

Karen added: “I’d encourage everyone to come along and support the upcoming Big Breakfast. Peasedown Residents’ Association has already raised over £2,500 this year from successful grant applications and fundraising.

“Of which, all the money is going straight back into paying for community activities.”
