Three people were rushed to Frenchay hospital in Bristol this morning after three crashes near the same spot of the A420.
Avon and Somerset Police were called to Tog Hill on the A420 at 7.40am to reports of an incident.
The first crash involved a lorry and a car and emergency services arrived on scene to assist the driver of the car, a 50-year-old man, who sustained chest injuries. He was taken to hospital by ambulance.
During that ongoing incident, a 27-year-old motorcyclist also came off his bike at the same spot and injured his arm.
A third crash a few minutes later involving another lorry and a cyclist also led to further emergency services being needed. The 35-year-old cyclist suffered shoulder injuries and also had breathing difficulties.
The police closed off the stretch of the A420 while they investigated the three incidents.
Anyone who witnessed any of the crashes is asked to contact Avon and Somerset Police on 101.
