Lawyers from Bath law firm Stone King put on a winning performance when they competed against other professionals in a gruelling race challenge.

Commercial property lawyer Tamsin Simmonds, family law solicitor Simon Walker and employment lawyer Peter Woodhouse represented Stone King at the annual Colliers International Bristol Professionals TRYathlon.

Despite a lack of training for the event, which saw professionals from across the region compete in a 400m swim, 16km bike ride and 5km run, the three-strong Stone King team won the mixed relay.

Simon produced a barnstorming performance with the fastest swim time of all the competitors, Peter cycled the third fastest bike leg and Tamsin was the fastest female runner, and fourth fastest runner overall.

“It was a most enjoyable day,” said Peter Woodhouse. “It was a great opportunity to compete and network with other professionals, as well as raise money for a very worthwhile cause.”

The proceeds from this year’s TRYathlon, which was held at Tockington Manor School, Bristol will be donated to Children’s Hospice South West.

Stone King’s long established private client practice has been providing expert legal advice to the people of Bath and beyond for more than 200 years.

They have also established a national reputation for their specialist legal advice to schools and charities, and offer a full spectrum of legal services to businesses.
