Team Bath will be in NXT Gen League action tonight, Friday 6th March, for the first time in three weeks – and they are still searching for their opening victory of the year.

The side from the University of Bath went into the season aiming to go one better than in 2025, when they finished runners-up.
But the current campaign has not gone according to plan, with the Blue & Gold suffering defeat in all four of their fixtures so far.
The most recent of those setbacks came on Friday 13th February, when Manchester Thunder were 62-47 winners at Team Bath Arena.
Tonight’s match will bring visitors Birmingham Panthers to the sold-out venue for a crucial clash near the foot of the table (7pm).
The Blue & Gold have just one point and lie in penultimate spot, with only Welsh outfit NexisLexis Dragons below them.
Birmingham are one place above Team Bath, and have seven points.
The Panthers have won two of their five fixtures, 59-53 over the Dragons in Round 1 and 60-58 against Loughborough Lightning in Round 3.
In their last outing, on Saturday 28th February, Birmingham were pipped 56-55 by guests NIC Leeds Rhinos.
Tickets for Team Bath’s next home fixture – against Loughborough on Friday 20th March – are available here.
