Local residents are being asked by Bath & North East Somerset Council to check their electoral registration so they can vote on decisions that affect them.
People who have previously provided their email address will receive an email on behalf of the Electoral Registration Officer at Bath & North East Somerset Council.
The email will ask residents to check their household details via a dedicated secure portal where they can either confirm that the information is correct or, if necessary, make any changes.
If residents have not provided an email address, they will be sent a letter in the post, which will explain what action they need to take.
With local elections taking place in May 2023, this is an opportunity for residents to make sure they can take part.
