The facade of the Grade II listed building
Planning permission was granted last month to turn the site into a mix of community and commercial use.
The Grade II listed church, near Pulteney Bridge, dates from the late 1700s.
Due to falling attendances and increasing costs, the Synod decided to rationalise the other United Reformed Churches within Bath, at Rush Hill and Larkhall, and dispose of the site at Bathwick.
Developers Bedstone Developments (Argyle) Ltd have already obtained consent from Bath & North East Somerset Council to change the use of the chapel, accessed via Argyle Street, and to reinstate the late Victorian entrance from Grove Street.

The flats will be accessed via the Grove Street entrance
The same developers are applying for planning permission and listed building consent to convert the vacant halls and vestries into eight residential apartments, split over three floors.
The flats will be accessed via the Grove Street entrance/staircase built in 1955, and no interlinking is proposed between the two uses.
The planning reference for the apartments scheme is 23/04782/FUL and the deadline for comments is 1st February. The council is due to make a decision by the end of next month.
