Update: 15.30 – 05/09/13 – Janet Aplin has now been found safe and well by police.

Avon and Somerset Police have begun an appeal for information to find a woman missing from her home in Bath.

Janet Aplin was last seen at shortly before midnight on Tuesday 3rd September and was reported missing from her home in Oldfield Park a few hours later.

Since then officers have been conducting enquiries to locate her and police, and her family, are concerned for her because of her health.

Janet is 59-years-old and has long greying hair which comes down as far as the middle of her back. She was last seen wearing a black t-shirt with a Dire Straits logo on it, black jogging bottoms, white socks and black slip-on shoes. She may also be wearing tanned coloured trousers.

Officers would like to speak to Janet to make sure she is safe and well and are appealing to Janet to contact her family, or Avon and Somerset Police on 101.

Anyone who has seen Janet since she went missing should contact Avon and Somerset Police on 101.
