Avon and Somerset Police in Bath are appealing for information about an assault at Zero Zero club in York Buildings that left a man unconscious and with a broken jaw.

They would like to hear from anyone who saw what happened, in the basement smoking area at around 1am on Sunday 11th May.

The injured man, 26, had been talking to two other men moments before the assault.

He was walking away from them when he was hit from behind.

His friends found him lying unconscious, being tended to by a woman who had placed him in the recovery position.

Medical checks later discovered he had a broken jaw.

Anyone who has any information is asked to call Bath police on 101 quoting crime reference number 51776/14.
