The Rhubarbs have agreed a deal with foolscircle records that will see the young band release their very own ‘Sweatbox Hype’ brand of neo-punk garage rock with the Bath based indie label.

The deal is believed to encompass two singles and an E.P. with the possibility of extending the agreement to a full album.

The first single ‘Guilt’ is already on its way to distributors and will be available commercially from the 7th May 2012.

Bassist Rob Hunt said “we’re really pleased to work with foolscircle records here in Bath, it’s a good indie label and has a great pedigree for launching up and coming acts”.

foolscircle records’ Iain Allan Mills had this to say on The Rhubarbs: “I saw them live in Moles here in Bath, and wasn’t looking forward to it, but the boys just blew me away. I identified the first two singles at that performance and we discussed details that night under one of the arches, I’m extremely happy to working with these young lads, it’s very powerful stuff“.
