Just when you thought it was safe to venture out, Jedward’s Big Adventure has returned to the CBBC channel with the celebrity brothers featuring Bath on their show today.

The series is a rip-roaring ride through history with worldwide pop sensations John and Edward Grimes learning key facts at each destination and leading their own unique tour to a busload of young sightseers.

Imagine arriving only to find Jedward and their celebrity guests are your guides.

Brace yourself Bath, Jedward are coming! The dynamic duo has 24 hours to learn all the facts they can about the city of Bath. They’ll discover Romans, Jane Austen and why posh Georgians loved pineapples.

Filmed back in September last year, the brothers were seen outside the Jane Austen Centre, on the Royal Crescent, in Bath Abbey and also at the Roman Baths, as part of the show to prove they can become brilliantly informed tour guides for the public.

On hand to assist Jedward in episode two are CBBC’s Iain Sterling and Kelly-Anne Lyons from ‘DNN’. The teams battle it out to see who will make the best tour guides, taking some unsuspecting tourists on a Jepic tour they’ll never forget.

Will they make a splash in Bath or will it be a wash out?

At the end of the show, the tourists sit a quiz to find out just how much they’ve learned from Jedward’s tour. Whichever brother’s team manages to get across the most number of correct facts wins an awesome prize – with the losing team having to face a horrible forfeit.

Jedward said: “Jedward’s Big Adventure is totally awesome, we get to travel all around the UK, visiting many historical sites and learning the facts about them. We enjoy sharing this information with tourists. Wearing period costume and Jedward outfits brings history to life. CBBC be prepared for plenty of jepic coolness and adventures”

Locations explored in the series include: The Giant’s Causeway in Northern Ireland, as well as Acton Scott in Shropshire, Oxford, Blackpool, Stratford upon Avon and London’s Hampton Court Palace.

Jedward’s Big Adventure is Executive Produced by David Staite at Initial and Melissa Hardinge at CBBC. The Series Producer at Initial is Rebecca McVeigh.

You can watch the programme today at 4.30pm on CBBC or CBBC HD, or catch up on the BBC iPlayer.
