Bath law firm Rubric has continued its programme of expansion with the hire of an experienced corporate lawyer.
Steven Carman joins Rubric following 16 years practising law. He has acted in large-scale corporate sales and acquisitions for national and international clients.
He previously worked for two of the largest commercial law firms in the South West and a Magic Circle law firm in London.
Steven is the latest high-profile appointment at Rubric and the firm recently moved into new offices to accommodate their expanding team. Since forming in 2012 Rubric has grown to six partners covering all aspects of the law.
The firm celebrated its first 18 months in business in October 2013 with a move into new offices at the Tramshed in Bath.
Partner James Howell said: “The last few months have been an exciting period of development for Rubric. We’re thrilled to have Steven Carman join the firm. He is held in high regard and his experience and expertise in corporate law will strengthen our offering in this discipline.
“We quickly outgrew our old premises and so relocating to the Tramshed was essential to accommodate our expanding team and planned future growth.”
Partner Steven Carman said: “Rubric have established a fresh take on the traditional law firm model and I’m excited to be joining a team with such an innovative approach to the delivery of legal services.”
