B&NES Council has organised two events during Real Nappy Week (20th – 26th April) where new and expectant parents can find out more about using re-usable nappies.

Re-usable nappies help reduce the amount of waste heading to landfill sites

The first event is at the Percy Community Centre, New King Street, Bath BA1 2BN, on Wednesday 22nd April, 10am – 11.30am.

The second takes place at Community@67 community centre, Queens Road, Keynsham BS31 2NW, on Friday 24th April, 10am – 11.30am.

The aim of the events is to raise awareness of re-usable nappies and the waste implications of disposable nappies.

The Council’s Campaigns Manager Sarah George will talk about her experience of using real nappies with her own children.

Free refreshments will be provided and children are very welcome.

Everyone who attends will have the chance to be entered into a prize draw to win a £50 voucher for their choice of re-usable nappies.
