Bath-based water and sewerage company Wessex Water is offering free virtual education sessions to schools as youngsters mark World Water Day on 22nd March.

The company’s virtual education sessions will cover the value of water, the role it plays in our lives and the environment, and how we can look after this precious resource.

Wessex Water’s education adviser Gillian Smith said: “Wessex Water is offering World Water Day virtual sessions, which will be available from 15th to 29th March, to schools across the region.

“You can book a virtual session through our website and then we will send you an invitation via Microsoft Teams or Zoom at a time of your choosing. We look forward to hearing from you!

“We also have a range of resources aimed at KS1, KS2 and KS3 covering a wide range of water-based scientific topics.”

To get involved with a virtual session or download Wessex Water’s educational resources, visit www.wessexwater.co.uk/community/education.
