A Year 10 student at the Royal High School in Bath, Mia Regan, has been selected for a place in the highly competitive Team Bath Netball Futures Academy.

In addition to the two-hour weekly coaching slot with coaches Asha Francis, Loise Rideout and Nikki Lloyd, Mia will receive two technical sessions each week and will trial for the U17 National Premier League in the Spring.

The Royal High School is well known for its success in Netball under Head Coach and Bath Netball Club chairperson Natalie Roddy who is supported by Team Bath Superleague and England player Rachel Shaw.

Director of Sport Sarah Penny said: “We are incredibly proud of Mia she has a very bright future ahead in netball.”

Mia also formed part of the school’s U16 county champions netball squad who will compete at the Regional Championships in January.
