Continuing its run of sponsorship for outstanding business achievement at schools in the South West, Milsted Langdon recently presented its annual Award for Business & Enterprise to two Bath Royal High School students.

General Practice Manager Dan Kenyon attended the school’s recent end-of-term Awards Day to hand the award to Year 13 students Emily Cameron and Sophie Langman, who each received a trophy and a £100 Waterstones voucher.

James McArthur, Head of Business & Economics, and History, said: “Sophie and Emily have studied Economics together at GCSE and A level. Their knowledge and grasp of the subject is almost certain to win each of them a place on Exeter University’s Business degree course next year.

“The extensive work experience each has gained has allowed them to apply what they have learned in school and has also prepared them for higher education.”

Dan’s Bath Royal High School trip came hot on the heels of Bath office Director Peter Groves’ appearances as guest award judge at Millfield School, Street and Monkton Combe School, Bath.

Dan said: “Milsted Langdon is always keen to reward talent, hard work and achievement in business, and it was a pleasure to see Sophie and Emily display so much of each quality.

“They can both look forward to a very bright future and I wish them luck in securing an offer from Exeter university. I would like to think that winning the Milsted Langdon Award for Business and Enterprise might enhance their chances of success.”
