Avon & Somerset Police have launched an appeal for witnesses and information following a burglary at a property in Bath last weekend.

The back door of a property on South View Road was forced open sometime between 7pm on Friday 13th October and 11am on Monday 16th October, and a safe stolen from inside.

House-to-house enquiries have been carried out, while crime scene investigators have examined the property as part of their inquiry.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who saw anything suspicious in the South View Road area over the weekend, as well as anyone with dashcam, doorbell or CCTV footage which could help the investigation.

If you can help, call 101 and provide the call handler with the reference 5223252593.

Alternatively, contact the independent charity Crimestoppers 100 per cent anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via their Anonymous Online Form.

No personal details are taken, information cannot be traced or recorded and you will not go to court or have to speak to police when contacting Crimestoppers.
