Avon and Somerset Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a 33-year-old man was assaulted on Broad Street in Bath.
It happened at about 8pm on Saturday 31st March. The 33-year-old man was driving along Broad Street when his car was kicked, damaging the wing mirror.
He stopped his vehicle and got out of the car, at which point he was punched in the head repeatedly by two men, who then made off towards Milsom Street.
The driver sustained cuts and bruises in the attack. Several people stopped to check on him, including a woman who called the police, a couple said to be in their 50s and a man on a bicycle.
Officers are keen to trace anyone who saw the incident who has not yet come forward.
Investigating officers are keen to trace the man pictured, who may be able to help with their enquiries.
The men responsible for the assault are both described as white, about 6ft 2ins tall and of ‘broad’ build.
One was said to be aged about 25, with black hair which was short at the back and sides and slightly longer on top. He wore a white long-sleeved top and dark-coloured trousers.
The second man wore a dark-coloured zipped top.
