Avon and Somerset Police have launched an appeal for witnesses following a break-in at a property in the Fairfield Park area of Bath in February.
It happened at around 6.30pm on 22nd February at the property in Georges Road.
Four suspects forced entry to the property.
One of them went upstairs and into one of the bedrooms, where a member of the family was using her mobile phone.
She was pinned down by two of the suspects and her phone taken. The victim was not injured.
The intruders also took a safe from the property, which contained jewellery and cash. They discarded the mobile phone as they left the property.
The suspects are described as four white men.
One of them was about 6ft tall of large build, aged between 35-45 years old with blue eyes.
The lower half of his face was covered but he spoke with an East European accent. He was wearing a black baseball cap with white piping and a waterproof nylon jacket, which was zipped up and blue jeans. He was wearing thick-lined black gloves.
Another suspect was of similar build, height and age. The bottom part of his face was covered. He was wearing a black baseball cap. He was also wearing a black nylon jacket zipped up and was wearing black gloves. He had a similar accent to the first man.
The third man was smaller and thinner and was wearing a grey beanie-style hat. He was wearing a black coat and black gloves and spoke with an East European accent.
The remaining suspect was described as being shorter and thinner than the others. He was wearing a black beanie hat and a black sleeved top.
It is not known whether the four suspects got into a vehicle, however they might have attracted the attention of someone who was possibly returning home from work.
