Witness appeal launched by police following fatal collision on Widcombe Hill

Avon and Somerset Police have launched an appeal for information and witnesses following a fatal collision involving a motorcyclist in Bath last week.

20-year-old Harry Chapple, of Maidenhead, died after the motorcycle he was riding collided with another vehicle on Widcombe Hill.

The incident happened at approximately 9.35pm last Friday, 12th October.

South Western Ambulance Service sent two ambulances and two rapid response vehicles to the scene, and Mr Chapple was taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol.
