Avon and Somerset Police are appealing for information to help trace a woman who verbally abused two uniformed Norland Nannies in the centre of Bath last week.

It happened on Monday 14th September at the bus station in Dorchester Street and continued on the No.5 Twerton/Whiteway bus.

The woman remained in the bus as the two nannies got off at Newton Road in Twerton.

One witness has told police that the bus was full and that several passengers asked the woman to stop her swearing and abuse.

Officers would like to contact them for more information.

The woman is white, in her early 30s, 5ft 8ins tall, of medium build with dyed red/brown hair tied up in a bun.

She had a tongue piercing and was wearing a red polo shirt, baggy light blue jeans, white Adidas trainers and a white Adidas waist-length jacket.

She was carrying a number of white plastic carrier bags full of shopping.

Anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting reference number 102667/15.
