While being the activities coordinator at Newbridge Towers Care Home, in which she was expected to safeguard the financial interests of Mark Woodward-Parker, Mariyam Yasmin is said to have dishonestly abused that position, intending to make a gain for herself of £9,457.84.
The charge relates to a period between 29th March 2021 and 12th February 2022.
Yasmin, whose address was given as Glasshouse Fields in Tower Hamlets in London, had been listed to attend Bath Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 11th February but failed to turn up, so a warrant not backed by bail was issued.
Newbridge Towers closed in 2022. There is currently a planning application to turn the building into accommodation for hospital staff.
