A 19-year-old from Bath has admitted being in possession of a knife in the city centre without good reason or lawful authority.

Diego Haruni, of Green Park House in Green Park Road, appeared at Bath Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 26th November to plead guilty to the offence.

He was arrested after being found to be in possession of the knife in James Street West on 8th November.

Magistrates adjourned the case for an “all options” pre-sentence report to be prepared by the Probation Service.

Haruni was remanded on unconditional bail until his sentencing at the court on 26th January.
