Police launch appeal for witnesses after man in his 20s seriously assaulted in Bath

Avon and Somerset Police have launched an appeal for witnesses and information after a man in his 20s was seriously assaulted in the Twerton area of Bath last Thursday afternoon.

The incident happened in the Newton Road area sometime between 12.30pm and 1.30pm on Thursday 15th December.

A man in his 20s was attacked and taken to hospital where he remained in a stable condition.

The assault is being treated by police as an isolated incident.

Officers are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident, or who saw anything suspicious in the area around the time.

Anyone with information is asked to call PC Christian Vogler via 101, providing the call handler with the reference 5216278207.
