Avon and Somerset Police have launched an appeal for witnesses following a robbery at the Halifax bank in Keynsham on Monday morning, in which a ‘significant amount’ of cash was taken.
The incident took place on Monday (26th September) shortly before 11.40am at the Halifax bank on the High Street.
A man entered the bank and handed a cashier a note which suggested he was armed.
The man then left the store with a significant amount of cash. No weapons were seen during the incident.
The suspect is described as white, of medium build, wearing black clothing including black gloves and a black beanie hat.
He was also wearing glasses and had a short, dark beard.
CCTV stills of a man officers would like to speak to in connection with the incident have now been released.
