Officers from the British Transport Police would like to speak to a woman in connection with an incident of racially aggravated public order at Bath Spa railway station last month.

Between around 6.45pm and 7pm on Wednesday 16th August, the victim, a 27-year-old woman, was standing outside Bath Spa railway station.

She was approached by a woman she did not know, who told her to go away, and then began racially abusing her.

The victim was left feeling scared, intimidated and distraught following the unprovoked verbal assault.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who recognises the woman shown in the CCTV image as she may have information which could help the investigation.

Officers would also like to speak to anyone who was at Bath Spa station around the time of the incident and may have seen what happened.

If you have any information which could help the investigation, call BTP on 0800 40 50 40 or text 61016, quoting reference number 174-170817.
