Men Remanded In Custody After Peasedown Murder

The two men who appeared in court yesterday in connection with the Peasedown St John murder inquiry have been remanded in custody to appear at Bristol Crown Court.

Jesse Harper, 22, who is charged with murder, was remanded in custody and will appear at Bristol Crown Court tomorrow (15th May).

Declan Harper, 19, who is charged with assisting an offender, was also remanded in custody and will appear at Bristol Crown Court on 11th June.

Both men appeared this morning at Bath Magistrates’ Court yesterday morning.

Shortly before 10.30am last Sunday (10th May) police were called to a residential address in Hillside View in Peasedown St John regarding a welfare concern for the occupant.

Upon arrival, a 55-year-old woman was found inside the property with serious head injuries.

She was airlifted to Southmead Hospital by the Great Western Air Ambulance where she sadly died from her injuries on Monday morning.
