Police are appealing for information after a man received head injuries after being attacked in the Larkhall area of Bath in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Officers were alerted to the assault in Uphill Drive after ambulance crews were called to the scene just after 1am yesterday morning.

The man was taken to hospital and was found to have received cuts to the back of his head.

There was a large police presence during Saturday morning while police forensic teams investigated the attack.

Avon and Somerset Police are asking anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident or may have information to call the force number 101 and quote log 110 of the 23rd May.
