Bath magistrates have asked for more information about a 36-year-old man before they sentence him after he admitted possessing an offensive weapon and causing criminal damage.

Lee Beer, of no fixed address, appeared in court on Wednesday 10th December.

The magistrates heard that on 24th September he had been in possession of a metal bar in Milsom Street and had caused criminal damage of over £1,700 to a door at Julian House, the charity which helps people who are homeless.

Magistrates adjourned the case for a pre-sentence report to be compiled by the Probation Service.

Beer was remanded on conditional bail until 16th February.
