A neighbourhood policing team, housing association Curo and Avon Fire & Rescue Service were recently joined by around 100 people at a community day at Lampards Buildings in Bath.

The emergency services and housing association teamed up to put on the event on Sunday 24th September.

There were fun activities for children during the afternoon, including a bouncy castle and face-painting, plus the chance to check out a police van and a fire engine.

Police and fire officers offered security and fire safety advice, while Curo staff were on hand for residents to raise any issues.

The event was also supported by staff from the Percy Community Centre in New King Street.

PCSOs Brian Harris and Abbi O’Brien said the day was aimed at bringing the community together and giving them a chance to get to know their local neighbourhood policing team.
