Drug-dealer from Corston caught in city centre with 5kg of cannabis

A man has appeared before Bath magistrates, charged with possessing nearly five kilograms of cannabis in the city with intent to supply.

In court on Wednesday 8th April, Liam Banks, of Cotton Mead in Corston, admitted the charge which dates from 23rd July 2024.

He had been found in possession of 4,882 grams of the class B drug.

Banks, who is 26, was remanded on unconditional bail until 1st July for an all-options pre-sentence report to be prepared.

He was told that it could include committal to Bristol Crown Court, where the sentencing powers are greater.
