British Transport Police (BTP) are appealing for help from the public to identify a man they would like to speak to after a glass window was smashed at Bath Spa railway station just before Christmas.
Around £400 worth of damage was caused when the man headbutted a window near the entrance, shortly after midnight on 20th December 2015.
Sergeant Pat Moore from BTP said: “Our inquiries at the station lead us to believe the man arrived from the direction of the tunnel and he was then seen to headbutt the window, hurting himself in the process.
“There were a number of people waiting outside and we understand one of them offered him a tissue to help with his injury.
“He quickly left the area when station staff were alerted about what had happened.
“We are now issuing a CCTV image of a man who we want to trace as part of our investigation and I’d urge anyone who knows him to contact us.”
Anyone with information about the incident can call BTP on 0800 40 50 40 or text them on 61016 quoting reference G/B4 of 15/01.
Alternatively, details can also be given to the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
