A cat which had been left in a flat ordered to be closed by the courts last week has now been removed and taken for a check-up at a vet, after evading police officers and Curo staff.
The flat in Lampards Buildings in Bath was sealed on Monday 13th February after a hearing at Bath Magistrates.
Police officers and staff from the landlord, Curo, checked the flat thoroughly before it was boarded up.
Avon and Somerset Police subsequently found out that the cat was still inside the flat and is known to hide under the floorboards.
Numerous attempts to lure it out with food failed and a humane trap was left in the property.
On Saturday 18th February, PCSOs revisited the flat and found the cat in the cage. It was then taken to a local vet to be checked over.
