Avon and Somerset Police have arrested a 25-year-old man in connection with a stabbing incident in Peasedown St John at the weekend, on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.
A 52-year-old man was stabbed in an alleyway between Sunnyside View and Bath Road at about 11.35pm on Saturday (23rd September).
He was taken to hospital for treatment but his injuries are not life-threatening or life-changing.
A man has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and remains in custody.
Officers are now appealing for anyone who witnessed this incident, or who saw or heard anything suspicious in the Bath Road or Sunnyside View area on Saturday night, to call them on 101.
