Specsavers store on Westgate Street undergoes complete £300k renovation

An opticians in Bath has undergone more than a quarter of a million pound refit and is now looking forward to welcoming customers through the door.

The renovations of Specsavers at 18 Westgate Street have been ongoing for the past couple of months to the tune of £300,000.

The complete store refit will ensure Specsavers continues to deliver excellent customer service and will make the store an even more customer-friendly environment for everyone.

An extra testing room has been added to help with the increase in customer demand, while new flooring, ceiling, seating, lighting and desks bring the store to life. There is also a new pre-screening area for customers.

Another addition to the store are new tablets, which help to create a more flexible customer experience, and also take a step towards a paperless working environment.

Store director, Phil Lodge, said: ‘We are delighted with the new look of the store and hope our customers will enjoy it to. The refit allows us to offer the best possible service to existing and prospective customers.

‘We are also very pleased to be embracing the latest technology to continue delivering an exceptional experience for the everyone that comes through the door.’
