Children from forty schools have taken part in this year’s Fireworks Safety Poster competition, sponsored by Bath Building Society and supported by The Rotary Club of Bath.

The posters were judged on their safety message and artistic merit.
The judges for this year’s competition were Councillor Rob Appleyard, Mayor of Bath, two members of staff from Avon Fire & Rescue Service, Rodney Hodgman from The Rotary Club of Bath and Kevin Gray and Tiffany Hardie-Albutt from Bath Building Society.
The winners of the five categories were given a money voucher to open a Bath Building Society Account, an art set and a Bath Building Society goody bag.

- Sophie Ollis – Bathwick St. Mary Church School
- Hudson Davies – St. John’s Catholic Primary School
Age 10+ Group
- The winner’s name has not been publicly revealed.

- Miah Dubleton-Rawlings – Three Ways School

The overall winner of the competition was Fred Baker from Bathwick St Mary Church School.

All the children that entered the competition have been given a free voucher that can be exchanged for a ticket to the firework display when purchasing an adult ticket.
The firework display will take place on Saturday 5th November at The Recreation Ground, organised by The Rotary Club of Bath.
