The shared-use Two Tunnels Greenway connects Bath and the Midford Valley and is managed by the charity Sustrans.

Due to persistent rainfall, the shorter of the tunnels, the Devonshire, has been closed since 4th January.

Sustrans, in liaison with Bath & North East Somerset Council, says it is actively engaging with contractors to resolve the current situation.

Having pumped out more water, a camera was sent down the blocked pipe yesterday (Tuesday 16th January) but without getting far enough to locate the blockage.

Work was due to continue today and tomorrow. There is as yet no date for reopening.

The rest of the Greenway is open with a diversion via the footpaths in Lyncombe Vale, though these are not as accessible as the route itself.
