More volunteers are needed to support the Keynsham Community Fridge initiative.

The team of volunteers work to prevent food waste and help local people put extra food on their tables.

They collect food that is nearing the end of its shelf life at local supermarkets and outlets and deliver it to the Community Fridge, which is in Savour Kitchen in Temple Street.

Around 50 people per day make use of the food that the volunteers make available.

If you can spare a few hours a month to help and are willing to undertake a basic online food hygiene certificate, email the organisers at [email protected]
