The limited-edition shirt the Bath Rugby players will wear at The Clash this year has been revealed, specially created in conjunction with Bath Rugby Foundation, the charitable arm of the club.

The shirts feature images of inspirational individuals who form the Foundation’s own very special XV.

All fifteen have overcome the odds and achieved remarkable success while taking part in programmes run by Bath Rugby Foundation.

Matt Garvey, Club captain at Bath, said: “As players, we know that every time we step onto the field we are representing everyone in Bath and we’re honoured to be taking these fifteen amazing individuals onto the Twickenham pitch with us.

“The whole squad knows about the Bath Rugby Foundation and the work it does with some inspirational young people in and around Bath, so it’s great to recognise them in this way at The Clash.”

The shirt, which has been designed by Canterbury of New Zealand, Official Kit Supplier to the Club, is limited edition and will raise funds for Bath Rugby Foundation after the game.

Bath Rugby Foundation CEO, Lynne Fernquest, said: “Watching Bath Rugby run out at The Clash with our special Bath Rugby Foundation XV on the shirts will be an incredibly special moment, not only for the individuals, their family and friends, but also everyone connected to the Foundation.

“All fifteen have achieved success against the odds and we’re very proud of them all. They all deserve to be highlighted on the big stage.

The Clash sees the Club take on arch-rivals Leicester Tigers at the home of English rugby on Saturday 7th April.

A fantastic day out is on offer, with free family entertainment before and after the game itself. Over 50,000 tickets have already been sold for The Clash, with prices starting at just £5 for children and £15 for adults.

Tickets can be bought at www.bathrugby.com/theclash.

Bath Rugby Foundation is the charitable arm of Bath Rugby. The mission of Bath Rugby Foundation is to empower vulnerable children and young people in Bath and surrounding areas to succeed through programmes which focus on four areas: health, education, employability and inclusion.
