Residents are being invited to find out more about lowering their carbon footprint when planning their holidays in 2024 at an upcoming information day.

Bath Methodist Church will be holding a “Flight Free Holidays Information Day” at Walcot Methodist Chapel on Nelson Place East on Saturday 6th January.

Revd Simon Topping said: “Flying has a big impact on our personal carbon footprints.

“We want to share ideas about how to have a great holiday in 2024 without flying.

“We will have details about holidays by train, coach, bicycle, boat and foot across the UK and Europe.

“There will also be an opportunity to hear from those who have experience of holidaying this way – and an opportunity to share your own experience”.

The information day will take place between 10am and 1pm. Refreshments will be served throughout the day.

For more information, contact Simon Topping via [email protected] or on 07443 517636.
