More than 800 people came together in Royal Victoria Park in Bath on Sunday, 3rd July, to take part in the Race for Life in aid of life-saving cancer research.

Participants took part in either the 5k or 10k event, in memory of those whose lives have been lost to cancer or in celebration of those in remission and whose cancer journey is very much ongoing.
Organisers say the Race for Life raised £100,000 for Cancer Research UK, which is working to find ways of beating 200 types of the disease.
Some people dressed up and took part in teams, including breast cancer survivor Kirsty Willmot from Wick, whose friends were dressed as Mickey Mouse.
Carry Beasley, 34, from Chippenham also took part, having undergone treatment for a brain tumour in 2018.
The mum to baby Ivy, who she welcomed in August last year, is due a further operation later this year.
She said: “It’s thanks to advances in research and treatments that I am here and can enjoy these special moments.”
Over £2 million is spent on research in the South West by Cancer Research UK.
