River is the Venue is a partnership project between 44AD artspace, Art at the Heart of the RUH and research academics at the University of Bath.

Funded through the University of Bath Public Engagement Unit, the focus of the research and project is on historical flooding events in Bath.

The project has engaged local communities and schools with fascinating elements of the river’s history in the city.

Alongside community workshops and activities, the project has commissioned a series of public artworks by local artists, all presented and designed with a view of their accessibility for all.

The River is the Venue exhibition will tour to the Royal United Hospital as part of Art at the Heart of the RUH events from 1st December 2018.

Location: 44AD, 4 Abbey Street Bath BA1 1NN | Open: 12pm – 5pm (Sun 1pm – 4pm), 8th – 11th November 2018.
