Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) is looking for willing volunteers who can spare a few hours each week to help out at its shop on Moorland Road in Bath.

The CHSW shop on Moorland Road in Bath

Shop Manager, Ruth, said: “Moorland Road is a vibrant and busy street and we are appealing to members of the local community to come and join our happy team at the shop and reap the benefits of volunteering.

“We have opportunities for people to sort stock, create eye-catching displays and serve customers; whatever suits an individual’s needs.”

Whether you’re a student, retired, or looking to fill some time during the week, volunteering has many benefits including the opportunity to meet new people, learn new skills and improve their mental well-being.

By helping at the CHSW shop, you will be making a difference to children with life-limiting conditions to make the most of their short lives.

The charity’s Charlton Farm hospice, situated in North Somerset, provides an extensive range of services where children’s complex medical needs are met, families can stay for short breaks, brothers and sisters have fun and the whole family can relax and make precious memories together.

If you’re interested in volunteering, pop into the shop and chat to manager Ruth to find out how you can make a difference, or email [email protected].
