An up and coming accountant at leading Chartered Accountancy firm Milsted Langdon has been honoured with a place on the Bath Young Professionals’ (BYP) committee.

Dan Kenyon, a Business Intelligence Manager at Milsted Langdon’s Bath Office, will be assisting the BYP committee, which arranges regular bi-weekly meetings and quarterly events for its members – many of whom are drawn from the region’s top firms.

BYP is an innovative network created to help local professionals in the early stages of their careers offering them the chance to socialise and build lasting relationships with their peers.

Speaking about his appointment to the committee, Dan said: “I enjoy finding new ways to help Bath’s young professionals to make contacts and engage with the city’s professional community, whilst still enjoying themselves.

“I strongly recommend BYP membership, as it is a good starting for those people entering one of the professions in the city – providing a useful and informal support network.”

Dan added that he was grateful to BYP’s event sponsors, who include Milsted Langdon, for offering opportunities to professionals beginning their working lives in Bath.

BYP recently hosted a Bath Races evening, which was a major success for the group who had sponsored one of the seven race winners.

BYP’s guests were able to share in the celebrations at the new multi-million pound Langridge Grandstand’s VIP roof terrace.
