Kingsmead Square is to host an Autumn mini-market on Saturday 10th of October between 10am and 5pm, organised by Emma Savage of independent boutique Grace & Ted.
The market is also being organised by Piers & Sophia Milburn, owners of The Kingsmead Kitchen (formally the Jazz Cafe).
Stalls will be selling handmade crafts, art and jewellery from some of Bath’s best local independent businesses and there will be Autumn themed activities for children including leaf rubbing and the chance to make your very own wishing stick.
Alongside this, the Kingsmead Kitchen will be bringing along their vintage tractor barbecue and cooking up delicious food including burgers which are 100% homegrown on their farm.
Many of the Square’s much loved independent businesses will be offering special treats for shoppers on the day so be sure to stop by to enjoy the atmosphere in this infamous corner of the city.
Emma Savage, co-organiser of the market, said: “Previous markets in Kingsmead Square have been really successful and create a lovely vibe that we don’t think you can find elsewhere in the city.
“We’ve been lucky enough to have been given permission to hold quarterly markets and all of the businesses here are excited for them to become a regular fixture in Bath’s event calendar!”
Piers Milburn, owner of The Kingsmead Kitchen and co-organiser of the market, said: “We are thrilled to be working with Emma to create these wonderful, vibrant markets for Bath.
“We want to uncover a sense of Kingsmead’s history as an area of orchards and market gardens by offering a country atmosphere and great food made with homegrown seasonal ingredients.”
