TV property expert, journalist and author Martin Roberts was the special guest at the first of a series of property and construction networking events in Bath.

The inaugural event was jointly organised by law firm Stone King, chartered surveyors Colston & Colston and kitchen design and manufacturing company Airedale Group.

The popular presenter of BBC One’s property auction show Homes Under The Hammer was invited along to launch the new networking group at Hall and Woodhouse in Old King Street.

About 30 local property and construction professionals attended the event and discussed a range of issues, including the impact of the general election on their sector.

Guests also included Martin Veal who is the outgoing chairman of Bath and North East Somerset Council.

The next event will be held on Thursday 23rd July at 6pm in Hall and Woodhouse, Bath.

Contact Léonie Spencer at Stone King LLP on [email protected] or 01225 337599 if you would like to register your interest in attending.

Julia Davenport-Cooper, Head of Construction at Stone King, said: “This was a great opportunity for local professionals working in property and construction to network in an informal way and discuss matters affecting our sector.

“The event was a big success and we look forward to hosting the next one very soon.”

Martin Roberts  added: “I am delighted to be invited, it’s great that Bath now has its own property networking group, giving fellow professionals in Bath the chance to meet and exchange ideas.

“I look forward to attending the next event with the area’s key movers and shakers.”
